Attorney Tim Reilley

Tim Reilley is Partner at Evans/Reilley. Tim brings to the firm more than 26 years of experience representing clients in significant cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and various other bodily injuries.

Tim has recovered millions of dollars for his clients. He is a member of the Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum (one of the prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United Sates). Tim recently left one of the largest personal injury firms in Texas to join up with Chip at Evans & Reilley.

Tim is also a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. Most attorneys who advertise themselves as “trucking” or “18 wheeler attorneys” have no idea what that really means. They think a trucking case is just a large car wreck. Tim graduated from the ATAA trucking school in Montana. He has driven big rigs, oil tankers, loaded freight and knows how to handle significant trucking cases.

Tim grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Texas Tech University. After graduating from law school at the university of Houston Tim was recruited to the oldest defense firm in Dallas. Tim primarily represented hospitals and doctors in medical malpractice cases for a few years before changing the focus of his practice. Since 1998 Tim has only represented individuals seriously injured by other’s negligence.

“I started my career at the oldest defense firm in Dallas (where I first met Chip over 25 years ago). Most recently I was a partner in a large firm with over 150 employees and thousands of clients. I was able to achieve great results for my clients but was frankly too busy to really get to know most of them on a personal level. Chip and I stayed in touch over the years and would often talk about working together. The time was finally right for us to create a firm together. I am very excited to finally join up with Chip in a firm where I can provide more personal service to a small number of select clients.”

Tim and his wife, Nicole, have lived in Southlake, Texas since 1999. Both of their daughters, Regan and Kate, graduated from Southlake Carroll High School. Regan later received her Engineering Plus degree for the University of Colorado and currently is an environmental engineer in Denver, Colorado. Kate will soon graduate the University of Oklahoma.

Tim’s wife, Nicole Reilley, is the Executive Director of Me Squared Cancer Foundation. Me Squared helps adults with newly diagnosed cancer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and surrounding counties by providing cancer related educational and financial assistance.

Tim enjoys a number of outside activities when not working. Golf, skiing, traveling, fishing, hunting and most recently pickleball to name a few.
