About Us
Evans / Reilley is the successor firm of The Evans Law Firm that was founded in September of 2011 by Chip Evans. Chip had previously been a partner in Fisher & Evans, L.L.P. and Evans Edwards, L.L.P., two prominent Austin personal injury law firms. Chip’s practice has focused almost solely on Texas personal injury cases since 1998. Tim Reilley has practiced exclusively personal injury law for over 20 years working with The Noteboom firm and The Reilley Law Firm. Most recently, Tim was a partner in Reyes Browne Reilley in Dallas, specializing in trucking, auto and general negligence cases. Both Tim and Chip are Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Tim and Chip first met in 1997 at Burford & Ryburn in Dallas. Tim was an associate just beginning his second year with the firm as Chip began his career fresh out of law school. They soon became fast friends with their shared love of football, outdoor activities and golf. It seems whenever there was a firm golf outing, Tim and Chip had the partners of the firm trying to lock them in for their teams. Tim and Chip eventually realized it was better if they partnered in these tournaments, thus laying the groundwork for the law partnership today. While both took different paths to get to where they are today, Tim and Chip stayed in close contact over the years and co-counseled many cases together. A law partnership was inevitable.
The firm was founded on the idea that while the firm has many cases, each client has only one case and needs to feel like theirs is a priority. Selecting a lawyer is no small choice. Our firm recognizes this and appreciates the trust our clients place in us when hiring our firm. Personal attention and advice are given to clients through direct contact with the lawyers in our firm. Clients are kept fully advised of the status of their case at all phases of the process.
The firm has the resources and staff to handle any matter, no matter how complicated or financially rigorous. The firm often handles cases that are referred from other attorneys or on a joint venture basis. Additionally, we regularly serve as local counsel in the central Texas and Dallas / Fort Worth area.
